Based on my research I thought the E5-2697 v2 would be a good choice considering its 2.7Ghz Base, 3.5Ghz Turbo, 12 Core, 24 Threads. I am not sure if I should go with a CPU with higher base clock and less cores, or more cores and a reasonable base clock. Any advice/suggestions on this is appreciated.
